Call

Every Person on earth is loved by God.
All are called to use their gifts and talents...
their life itself in a unique way.
Each of us has a purpose in life
and each is called to respond to God's love.

We believe that all can discover their life call
by listening to the voice of God,
a voice that comes to us in different ways.
We discover it through prayer,
through a process of discemment,
and in being attentive to God's invitations
in our own experience of people, of events,
of faith, and of the signs of our times.

Discernment

Many people of faith would be pleased to accompany other in a process of discernment of life choices

In discernment...

• we pray for guidance
• we spend time with sacred scripture
• we respond to Jesus' invitation to know, to love, and to follow Him
• we participate in local church community... in celebration, in works of charity and justice
• we consider our personal gifts and inclinations, and discuss these with persons who respect our values
• we take advantage of opportunities for spiritual direction, retreats, etc.
• we gather information and discern options
• we know that God is with us as we move toward life commitment

God, supremely free in love,
enters intimately into our lives.
Each of us discovers only gradually,
as Mary did, God's design for our life.

It is God who prepares, forms, calls, consecrates
those God has chosen...

The disciples of Jesus were drawn by the Father to the person of Christ. They were compelled to
ask: Where do you live?

The response of Jesus came clearly to them,
Come and see. Follow me.
